Sustainable advantage: Corporate Social Responsibility

TGN|Fritom strives with all its activities for a good balance between healthy financial business operations, being future-proof, eco-quality and wellbeing. We are aware of the social and ecological impact our activities have and take our social responsibility seriously by adapting our business operations accordingly. TGN|Fritom puts her company policy and vision on corporate social and sustainable responsibility into specific tangible actions.

Acknowledged training company
TGN|Fritom is an acknowledged training company with a close relationship with regional educational companies - from trade college to college level. We have a warm relationship with Deltion College and Windesheim College.

ISO 14001:2015 - Environment
ISO 14001:2015 is the standard worldwide for eco-management systems. It is focussed on the control and improvement of environmental performances. Via this system TGN|Fritom pays structural attention to the environment and business operations. This is reflected in the use of electrical forklift trucks, the use of LED lighting, sorting and reuse of waste, the use of the latest Euro 6 engines, isolation of buildings and the use of entirely green power by means of wind energy.

Lean and Green Star
TGN|Fritom was awarded the Lean and Green Star award. This is the result of an intensive reduction program to bring back on CO2 emmission by 20% over the last 5 years. This was partly achieved by minimizing the number of stops during a transport, higher truck utilization, the use of Euro 6 engines, stimulating intermodal transport and fuel savings thanks to training and information. The aim is to reduce the CO2 emmission by another 10% the coming two years. We’ll have a close look at the possibilities to reduce CO2 emmission in business operations.
